Creating the U.S.

RWD's latest exhibition, Creating the U.S., opens to the public on April 12 as part of the new "Library of Congress Experience." Highly interactive exhibit elements will enable visitors to customize access to the Library's collections while examining the challenges faced by our country's Founding Fathers.

Against the Odds: Making a Difference in Global Health

Riggs Ward and the National Library of Medicine will open Against the Odds: Making a Difference in Global Health on April 17. This exhibition will highlight individuals and groups around the world that are facing and overcoming obstacles within their own communities to improve health on a global scale.

Magna Carta & Four Foundations of Freedom

Riggs Ward's exhibition, Magna Carta & Four Foundations of Freedom, will be highlighted in an environmental graphics feature in the March/April 2008 issue of Communication Arts Magazine. The Contemporary Art Center of Virginia partnered with RWD to create and host the exhibition during the spring of 2007.

On The Map

The University of Virginia and Riggs Ward's newest exhibition, On the Map, is open now through January 2009 in the Harrison Institute's main gallery space. The rare and historic North American Maps displayed are provided from the collection of Dr. Seymour I. Schwartz.

Exploring the Early Americas

Riggs Ward is proud to announce the grand opening of Exploring the Early Americas, an exhibition featuring the Jay I. Kislak Collection at the Library of Congress. Over 3,000 artifacts, paintings, rare maps, documents, and prints comprise the collection, which examines the rich history and cultural interactions that shaped the Americas.
