Colonial Heritage Center

Tannenbaum Historic Park

RWD is currently working with the Tannenbaum Historic Park to create new exhibits for their Colonial Heritage Center. The new center will reflect the lives of local citizens of North Carolina's Guilford County before, during, and after the American Revolution. Visitors will begin their experience in an orientation theatre to transport them to the Revolutionary era, then stroll along an 18th century road, discovering the effects of the war on a small community through observing the changes in its citizens' daily lives. An additional interpretive space features individual stories to personalize the visitor experience. RWD's role in this project has included development of a design report, as well as sketches and a model.
