Valentine Richmond History Center

Riggs Ward is working with the Valentine Richmond History Center on a new exhibition gallery exploring Richmond's past. To provide a dynamic line of sight for visitors entering the Introduction Hall, the gallery will open to provide an enhanced and illuminated view to the rear of the Wickham House and courtyard below. Minimizing artifact case widths will provide maximum visitor circulation, ease in orientation and wayfinding, and improved visitor engagement of the History Center's chronological time line. RWD created a series of renderings and floorplans for this project, which is now in the fundraising stage of development.
